Spectacular Cretan Vacation – TripAdvisor Review
My wife and our family spent 11 days at S&K Villas in June 2017. I’ve been to Greece 2 times now and Chania is by far my favorite place. Beautiful mountains, beaches, history and kind people.
S&K Villas is absolutely stunning with its modern elegance and comfort. It has a perfect location, footsteps from the local beach, restaurants and fresh food market. 5 min drive to the beautiful old town with great restaurants and shopping for the ladies. Less than a 2 hour drive to breathtaking Balos and Elafonissi beaches. Samaria gorge is 1 hour away and again, stunning. My dad couldn’t finish the hike but he vowed to get in shape and determined to return and conquer it. Haha!
The villa is perfect for its comfort and location for those lazy days relaxing around the pool or day trips to the sights.
Last but definitely not least is Stavros. He was an incredible host. He met us at the villa when we arrived from our long journey from Miami. I could tell immediately that he was a kind and genuine man. He made sure we were comfortable and explained how to get around the island. The villa was fully stocked with fresh fruits, veggies, cheeses, desserts, wine, beer and ouzo.
He gave us a long list of excursions and amazing restaurants that only the locals know about. He booked all of the restaurants and excursions we wanted to go to. If we had any issues or questions, we would simply text him and he would arrive within 30 min to help.
Cleaning service twice a week and he would bring us gifts every other day or so. He brought us pillows and blankets for the baby, local raki, wine, cheeses and his wife even cooked us a wonderful Greek meal on our last day.
Thank you Stavros for making this vacation one to remember for a lifetime.
If we ever return to Crete we will definitely be staying at your incredible villa.
